A painter while working passed away on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming project ‘Padmavati’. The 34 years old painter artist of Padmavati was working on a set which was under construction in Film City in suburban Goregoan. And he fell off the scaffolding suddenly when he was moving down for the lunch break. Despite all the efforts, he could not save at the end. Mukesh Dakia, the victim, was a residential of Moracha Pada in Aarey Colony. He hurried to the Kokilaben Hospital, but he was declared dead on arrival.

“What take place there was extremely unfortunate and completely unforeseen. We are making every effort to facilitate everything with the authorities (police). Our right support and prayers are with the family of the deceased,” CEO Shobha Sant, said, Bhansali Productions.
“All sets of ‘Padmavati’ are completely equipped with the best security measures. This project includes workers wearing essentials as belts, helmets and harness. Despite all of these securities, no one could foresee such a rare occurrence incident and unfortunate accident.” Subrata Chakraborty, and Amit Ray the art directors of the film said. A senior police officer stated that a case recorded as in this regard and investigation had been started.
Deepika Padukone’s Tweet on This Accidental Death
Deepika Padukone expressed her grief over this sad death of the painter on Twitter. She stated that ‘I am Shocked and saddened by the news of his death. And prays for him, may his soul rest in peace and all my sincere condolences are with his family.’ The movie also starring Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. ‘Padmavati’ is scheduled to release on 17th of November of next year. The movie is a period drama a traditional type of film. A traditional kind of film one song by Shreya Ghoshal (a playback singer of the film) has been filmed, and Deepika Padukone performs a traditional folk dance on a set.
