Rangoon the upcoming movie of Shahid Kapoor, in which he is playing the role of an army person. Rangoon is essentially a period film, a former shooter Ronak Pandit trained the actor Shahid Kapoor for this movie. Ronak Pandit who won a gold medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games, in the Men 25th m Standard Pistol category. He teaches him not only the art of basic rifle shooting but also the methods of gripping the gun, aiming at the weapon and perfecting at the stance.

‘Shooting is definitely in the blood of Shahid Kapoor, yet we give him training for over than a week at Worli centres and my Malad. We do a lot of lessons to teach him the method of using the trigger. We use the same approach that we do for the Olympics.’ Ronak Pandit explained.
The former shooter said that they shot on several Calibres & ranges however they also do precision shooting to get the right angles. ‘He had some long distance shots in the movie, and we want him to look convincing. At the last day, we go to the Worli range to shoot the firearm with the real bullets.
