Ambassador of Pakistan to UAE, Mr Moazzam Ahmad Khan, has appreciated the efforts of a Pakistani expatriate who has undertaken peace walk through UAE. He said, his journey is a glaring manifestation of close brotherly relations between both countries.

“Pakistan is an asset to the UAE and the UAE is an asset to Pakistan. The relations between the two nations are historical and also well established at government’s level as well as people level.
The Ambassador expressed these views while addressing a reception, held in honor of a Pakistani expatriate who walked across UAE for symbolising solidarity between Pakistan – UAE relations.
Mohammad Idris Malek Covered 1050 Km Across Emirates
The Pakistani expat Mohammad Idris Malek, a carpenter, covered 1050 km distance across all emirates in almost two weeks. As he started his walk on UAE National Day i.e. December 02, 2016 from Hatta. Mr Idress thanked Pakistan Embassy for receiving and holding a reception for him. Moreover, He informed that he got great care and love of people throughout his journey.
Mr Idris told that he has previously undertaken such peace walk in 2015, 2014 and 2013. He added, his walk also aims to draw attention to the peaceful life in the UAE that is “a model for the world to follow”.
This year, he also carried a Pakistani flag, besides the UAE flag, to express solidarity between the two countries. Lastly, he said he is planning to undertake a long walk from Dubai to London.
