The most awaited and exciting match of ICC Champions Trophy 2017 was played between Pakistan vs India on 4th June 2017 at Birmingham. It was 4th match of Champions Trophy and India won this match by 124 runs with D/L method. In the start, Pakistan won the toss, and they decided to field first, but in the end, their decision comes against them. Rain disturbed the game many times due to which officials decided to short the match with 48 overs. Latterly, due to substantial interruption of rain match was shortened to 41 overs.

From the start of the game Indians had a full grip on the match as their opening pair made partnership of 136 runs. Dhawan was the first wicket from the Indian side, Shadab Khan got his wicket and gone on 68 runs. In short, Sharma was run out on 91 and Yuvraj was out on 53. While Kohli and Pandya were not out on 81 and 20 respectively. Shadab Khan was little bit successful bowler from Pakistan’s side as he gives 52 runs in 10 overs by taking one wicket. Whereas Hassan Ali also took one wicket, but his economy was 7.00.
At the start of Pakistan’s innings, their target was 334 runs in 48 overs. But with the loss of time due to heavy rain their overs were restricted to 41. Whereas their target decreased to 289 runs by D/L method. Pakistani innings was not so good from the start of the match as their first wicket fell on 47 runs when Shehzad was lbw on 12 runs. Babar Azam only scores eight runs, and he was gone on the team total of 61 runs. Opener Azhar from Pakistan’s side was the most successful batsman as he made a half century by taking 65 balls. Azhar Ali loses his wicket on team-total of 91 runs. In bowling side of India, Yadav was the most successful bowler as he got three wickets with the economy of 3.91 runs.

Thus, India won the 4th match of ICC Champions Trophy by 124 runs, and Yuvraj Singh was player of the game as he scored 53 runs with the strike rate of 165.62 runs.
