New Year Holiday Announced In UAE

On the occasion of The New Year, the government of UAE announced Holiday. They declared that the Sunday 1st January 2017 would be an official holiday. This holiday is valid for Federal Ministries and departments on the delightful occasion of New Year. All official duties will resume on the next day, 2nd of January 2017.

New Year Holiday Announced in UAE

Government Human Resources’ Federal Authority issued a circular to ministries and all federal agencies in this regard on Tuesday. Meanwhile, The Emiratisation and the Ministry of Human Resources, Mohre proclaimed the New Year holiday on Sunday on 1st of January 2017. For all private sector employees, an official paid holiday in the UAE on the occasion of New Year. The announcement is made by the MoHRE’s Minister, Saqr Gobash because of consecutive of article # 74 of Federal Law No. 08 of 1980. This law is concerning labor relations and its amendments.

Ghobash revealed his sincerest greetings along with blessings to President Respectable Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Respectable Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, The Vice President and The Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates also enjoy holiday. And the Ruler of Dubai and the honorable members of The Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates will also on holiday. On the other hand, rest of citizens will also on holiday to give time to their friends and family.
