Hollywood Actors George Clooney and Barbra Streisand speak out about Donald Trump for saying Meryl Streep ‘The most overrated actress among Hollywood actors’. He calls her in these words because she criticised him in her speech at Golden Globe Awards.

Donald Trump burst out at the actress on Twitter after her accusation about him; at the occasion when he makes fun of a disabled journalist in a politically charged speech on the occasion of Golden Globes. “This instinct to humiliate, when someone models it on a public platform. It penetrates down into everybody’s life cause it gives permission for other people to do the same thing. Disrespect invites disrespect, and violence incites violence. When the powerful use their position to browbeat others, we all lose,” Meryl had said as she accepted the Cecil B DeMille Award at the ceremony.

George Clooney Revealed Against Trump’s Remark

‘I have always said about Meryl that she is the most overrated actress of all time. She had worked with me in Fantastic Mr Fox as a husband and wife. She is overrated. Clooney said, after that he asked Trump.

“Are not you supposed to be running the country?”

Barbra revealed her solidarity with Meryl as well as she commented: “I think that she said it wonderfully. I completely agree with Meryl. It was a tragic moment and so below the dignity of the presidency, let alone any respectful person. What we need more in this world are kindness and simple decency, and what he did and how he responds. And how he has the need to talk back and insult everyone who doesn’t favour with him that is pretty dishonourable.”

Late Night show host Seth Meyers also focused on Trump, calling him “Meryl Streep of having thin skin.” Seth pointed out, Trump’s Twitter antics have not changed since he voted into office. He also mentioned a Washington Post article that quotes Trump saying people call him “the Ernest Hemingway of Twitter.”

“I would mean that you are just the Ernest of the Twitter. Sincerely, if Ernest Hemingway heard you say that, he would stab himself again.”
